QUIRK’S is one of the largest media providers in the market research industry, whose events draw crowds from related organizations.
This show was the first ever event by QUIRK’S held in Chicago – which was a middle point for North American industry leaders to assemble.
We had a great time networking and seeing what our peers have been working on since we last connected.

It was a successful first showing for QUIRK’S in Chicago! The exhibit hall was absolutely jam packed and there was a palpable buzz in the air. In terms of attendees, there was a lot of local businesses, North American organizations, and a few international attendees as well. The crowd was really diverse and interesting.
Of course, last year there was a lot of energy put into the conversation around Big Data and its impact on market research. This year, we’ve started to discuss how Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning will affect research and data collection.
A lot of the speaking sessions were done in collaboration with the end-client and the research provider, which made for really engaging presentations.
Our client Research America presented in partnership with their client Walgreens on their work in the retail health care space. Market research firm Schmidt, also a client, spoke on their project using survey data to assess non-traditional brand relationship metrics.
The QUIRK’S events are getting bigger and bigger each year, which is really exciting. They clearly follow a very successful formula for events in the market research space.
We’re looking forward to attending the various QUIRK’S events next year!
As usual, there were a lot of solid networking opportunities with organizations of all kinds; market research firms, end-clients, providers, and beyond. And let’s not forget the talks – the speakers delivered quality coverage of a vast array of topics.
This week, Voxco France will be at Printemps des Etudes! Afterwards, in May, we’ll be headed to the AAPOR Conference. We are excited for this event as lots of our clients will be in attendance, so it’ll be a good opportunity to reconnect and get feedback.
There will be a little bit of event downtime for the summertime, and then we will be attending the ESOMAR event in Edinburgh.

We loved spending time at QUIRK’S in a new city, with good energy and an awesome mix of attendees. We had a great time connecting with our clients Research America, CRG, Emicity, Schmidt, and our partners MarketSight.
It’s clear that people come to these events to learn and see what’s new in the industry space.
