Voxco Announces the Acquisition of Sypiens
Paris, France – April 4th, 2012: Voxco announced today its acquisition of Sypiens, thus confirming its strategy to develop mobile data collection solutions. With this acquisition, Voxco, once again, stands out as a leader in software solutions for collecting and analyzing information by firmly establishing itself in the field of studies and surveys using mobile devices.
Sypiens is a French software publisher, specializing globally in mobile solutions for the collection of information and opinions. Its range of software applications enables online surveying on mobiles, panelist studies, and face-to-face surveys with interviewers. These solutions operate both online through a browser or offline by means of an application installed on the mobile device or tablet. Sypiens mobile solutions work on mobile devices running under Apple iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), Blackberry, Android, Symbian and Windows operating systems. This ability to reach 95% of mobile devices currently in use worldwide is a significant advantage for Voxco clients.
The acquisition of Sypiens will enable Voxco to offer highly sophisticated versions of its flagship products such as Acuity4 Social, Acuity4 Survey and Command Center™. The market for mobile applications is at fever pitch on a global scale. Similarly, applications for social media analysis, studies, and surveys conducted through respondent mobile devices are also in a remarkable growth phase.
